Extended Warranty Protection

Product warranties can be inconvenient and cumbersome to use. Extended Warranty Protection can help manage, use, and extend warranties for eligible items purchased on your covered account. Services include Warranty Registration and Extended Protection. You are eligible if you are a cardholder of an eligible card in the United States and purchase the item using your account.

How Warranty Registration Works

To register, call 1-800-551-8472 or register online at www.cardbenefitservices.com. If you choose not to register, keep your monthly billing statement, the itemized sales receipt, and warranty documents in a safe place to verify your claim.

How Extended Protection Works

Coverage can be doubled up to one additional year on eligible warranties of three years or less. Limited to the item’s original price minus shipping and handling fees, up to $10,000 per claim and $50,000 per cardholder.

What Extended Protection Does Not Cover

• Boats, automobiles, aircraft, and motorized vehicles.
• Items purchased for resale or commercial use.
• Used or pre-owned items, unless refurbished with a warranty.
• Losses from a Cyber Incident.
• Medical equipment and computer software.

Filing an Extended Protection Claim

Call the Benefit Administrator at 1-800-551-8472 after the failure of your covered item. You must submit documents like the claim form, monthly billing statement, itemized receipt, original warranty, and any additional documentation needed.

Definitions

• Digital Data: Information stored electronically, including programs and data.
• Eligible Person: A cardholder using their eligible account.

Price Protection

If you purchase an eligible item with your covered account and find it cheaper within sixty days, you can be reimbursed for the difference, up to $250 per item and $1,000 a year. Eligibility requires you to charge the item to your account.

How It Works

Purchase the item using your eligible account and keep all receipts. If you find a lower price, notify the Benefit Administrator within ten days of the advertisement.

What Is Not Covered

• Items with a sale date effective within sixty days of purchase.
• Internet auction advertisements and items purchased for resale.

How to File a Price Protection Claim

Submit your completed claim form along with required documents to the provided address within twenty days of contacting the Benefit Administrator.

Roadside Dispatch®

Roadside Dispatch provides security and convenience for roadside assistance with no membership fees. For a set price per service call, it includes:

• Standard Towing (up to 5 miles)
• Tire Changing
• Jump Starting
• Lockout Service
• Fuel Delivery (up to 5 gallons)

These services help in emergencies while traveling and provide assistance including:

Visa’s Zero Liability Policy

You won’t be held responsible for unauthorized transactions on your Visa card. Report suspicious charges immediately to Upgrade at (844) 319-3331.
