Important Information About Procedures for Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

¹  Rewards Checking Preferred customers who establish monthly Eligible Direct Deposits of at least $1,000 within sixty (60) days after account opening will earn 2% cash back on purchases in eligible categories, which include: convenience stores, drugstores, restaurants and bars (including deliveries), gas stations, utilities (such as electric, gas, sanitary, and water), and monthly subscriptions (including phone, cable, TV, and other streaming services). Excluded purchase categories and recurring payments include, but are not limited to: grocery stores and supermarkets (including affiliated gas stations), travel purchases, medical bills, retailers and online merchants, rent, mortgage, insurance, car payments, or other monthly subscriptions or bills. The 2% cash back rewards are capped at $500 in rewards per calendar year ($25,000 in eligible category purchases). Rewards Checking Preferred accounts with less than $1,000 in monthly Eligible Direct Deposits within sixty (60) days after account opening will not earn any cash back.
