What is the Allpoint Network?
Allpoint is a network of over 55,000 ATMs through which Upgrade customers get fee-free 1 (also known as surcharge-free) access to their accounts. Look for the Allpoint symbol on the ATM at your favorite retail locations.
Where are Allpoint ATMs located?
Use our ATM locator to find Allpoint ATMs. All ATMs listed on our locator are fee-free 1 for Upgrade cardholders to use.
Can I still use ATMs that are not part of the Allpoint network?
Yes. You can access your Boost Money Spend or Rewards Checking Preferred Account at any ATM that accepts Visa® debit cards. There is a fee of $2.50 to use out of network ATMs (ones that are not Allpoint), plus any surcharge fees from the ATM owner or operator.
Will my pin change?
No. You will continue to use the same pin code that you always use with your Upgrade Visa Debit Card.
What should I do if the Allpoint ATM asks that I accept the surcharge?
The ATM does not know if a card participates in the Allpoint Network until the transaction is completed. Sometimes this will cause you to see the “surcharge-screen”. Regardless, you will not be charged a fee as long as you are using your Upgrade Visa Debit Card and the ATM participates in the Allpoint ATM network. Simply press “Accept” and complete your transaction. If you notice any ATM fees on your account that you believe have been applied in error, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
The ATM looked like it was owned by a bank. Will that bank charge me for using the machine?
Many Allpoint ATMs may look like they are operated by other financial institutions, however, all Allpoint ATMs are free to use for Upgrade customers. Just look for the Allpoint logo on the ATM itself.
Which ATMs can I use?
You can access your Rewards Checking Preferred Account at any ATM that accepts Visa® debit cards. To avoid fees, use an Allpoint ATM. An Out of network ATM may charge you to use it. ATM fees and availability are subject to change.
